MUSIC & BASS

So, I have big plans for this page ... eventually. Music is still a big part of what I'm doing these days, but in a very different capacity than when I was younger. Very few of the folks I'm working with today know that I was a professional bassist, much less that I performed at venues like the Montreux Jazz Festival (1999), toured in South America with an award-winning klezmer band (of which I was a member for 14 years), and released 4 albums of original music in the jazz / fusion and "other" categories. Many who know me from my bass days don't know about all of the music that I have made since then, because I haven't been able to package it up and present it in a way that I'm excited about ... yet. I've been sitting on some really good stuff for quite some time, and it is my hope and goal to set it free in the next couple of years.

I look forward to adding new music, videos, and more to this page in 2015 - 2016. I'm sharing some of my favorite moments from over the years below, courtesy of a few friends. I wish the audio was better, but that's probably just the studio geek in me. Thank you for visiting!
